Piano Stool Makeover

 Hello Readers!
I have a quick and easy  furniture makeover this week.
I was hopeful on Tuesday that the weather was going to cooperate this week so I could get some painting done in our garage but after only a day or so of faux-spring we are back in the 30s with snow in the forecast.

So I had to tackle this makeover in the warmth of our living room.
{Plus Brew loves when my projects start taking over the house...}
 So this little piano stool had definitely seen better days.
It had its original horsehair stuffing and springs.
{and boy were they dusty and stinky!}
 So I stripped it down, gave it a good cleaning and
a coat of hemp oil to add some life back to the wood.

 I just used a little webbing, two layers of 2" foam,
 and a little cotton batting to rebuild the seat.
 Then I recovered it with some grain sack-inspired fabric.

 It the perfect size for our little desk.
{I even caught Brew sitting at the desk paying bills a few days ago.}

 The legs have some great detail. And I love that it it adjustable.

Well we are off the the beach this weekend!
And hoping to avoid this latest snow storm coming our way!

Thanks for stopping by!

I'm linking up!
